Mandy & Alex - If Rain is Good Luck, These Two are Rolling in It!! PEI Wedding Photographer
Hello! How is everyone? I have been very absent from the blog due to travel, preparing for travel, and catching up from travel. I am sure everyone can relate to that, especially at this time of year. I’d really like to blog a few more weddings from 2010, and then get started with 2011. The following images are from a wedding that took place Sept. 4th, 2010, and if you live on PEI you know that this day was marked by extreme winds and rainfall, so extreme that I actually heard of a few other weddings rescheduling for the next day. Mandy however put on a brave face and decided that she would make the best of her wedding day despite the unfavourable weather. After a very windy rainy morning the skies actually cleared up significantly and we had a great day despite the weather craziness.

It was a mad dash to get inside without getting drenched, the umbrella is pretty cute though. Tip: if the forecast is calling for a chance of rain on your wedding day, bring some cute coordinating umbrellas to have on hand just in case.

Luckily we have this great sheltered location in Charlottetown for group images.

The luxurious party bus!

The airport may seem like a strange location for wedding photos, but the location holds a special significance for Mandy and Alex as it’s where they first met!

Thanks for such a great day of shooting, it was beautiful regardless of the weather set backs!!
